Catherine recommends a boat excursion to Blue Lagoon Island (also known as Salt Cay) for a memorable swim with the dolphins; for those staying on Grand Bahama, the Unexso centre for diving and snorkelling with dolphins has an exceptional reputation. We are all in agreement that the Caribbean's best conch (pronounced ‘conk’) salad can be enjoyed in The Bahamas!

Did you know....? The population ratio of pink flamingos to people on the Out Island of Great Inagua is 61:1. Cascarilla bark is grown in the Out Islands and is used to flavour Campari and Vermouth.

We highly recommend the newer Royal Towers – 1,201 luxurious and spacious Terrace, Harbour or Water View Rooms overlook the mesmerising waterscape, marina, harbour or ocean.
The original Beach and Coral Towers have 1,147 rooms with views over the grounds, ocean, pool or waterscape.
All rooms are spacious with two king-sized beds and are well-furnished and air-conditioned with satellite television.
