Although best known as home to one of the great wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon, Arizona offers a dizzying array of tour and destination choices to suit any pocket and taste. The cactus dotted deserts, the red rock beauty of Sedona, the cosmopolitan sprawl of Phoenix and it's suburb Scottsdale with many renowned worldclass hotels and golf courses and the sublime beauty of Monument Valley. These are just part of the Arizona experience. Arizona's Old West Country is where the traditional west comes alive from the desert city of Tucson, to Ranch America's dude ranches, offering horseback riding, hiking, swimming, adventure and mouth watering cuisine. The Sonoran Desert Museum, Old Tucson Film Studios, Tombstone and Nogales, "Gateway to Mexico" are just some of the attractions to be found in southern Arizona.
A secluded, intimate ranch, the Bellota offers horseback riding over 65,000 spectacular acres, cattle roundups and some of the best hiking in the west! Each morning you will have the chance to saddle up your own horse and go on long, leisurely range rides enjoying the beautiful scenery. As a working cattle ranch, at certain times you may join in the cattle work, on other occasions looking for strays and checking fences.This is where you become a true cowboy/ cowgirl, learning to rope and brand, eat around a camp fire and maybe sleep under the stars. Please note that this ranch is recommended for experienced riders only, as some days you can be in the saddle for up to seven hours. |
