Day 1 | PRAGUE Arrive in Prague and check in to hotel. Time to relax or begin exploring the wonderful city.

Day 2 | PRAGUE A day trip to Terezin, an 18th century fortress, converted into a holding camp for Jewish prisoners to be sent to Auschwitz.

Day 3 | PRAGUE A full day to immerse yourself in Prague's many famous sites.

Day 4 | CESKY KRUMLOV Travel by train to Cesky Krumlov, possibly the most beautiful town in the Czech republic. |
Day 5 | CESKY KRUMLOV A day to explore the beautiful palace or old town centre, hike in the surrounding hills or raft on the river. |
Day 6 | BRNO Morning trip by bus to Brno. Afternoon to explore the old town centre, the Capuchin Monastery mummies or open air market.

Day 7 | BRNO A full day to take a short train ride out to explore the Moravian Karst limestone cave networks and walk amongst the rolling hills and woods.

Day 8 | HIGH TATRAS MTNS Train via Poprad to Slovakia's breathtaking High Tatras Mountains.
|
Day 9 | HIGH TATRAS MTNS We base ourselves in the mountains for 3 days with the chance to hike in the spectacular scenery and possibly stay overnight in a cabin amongst the picturesque peaks. We can also make daytrips to nearby Spis Castle, the Renaissance town of Levoca or rural Zdiar on the Polish border.

Day 12 | BRATISLAVA A train trip south to Slovakia's capital city.

Day 13 | BRATISLAVA - PRAGUE A day to explore Bratislava or take a boat trip on the Danube to visit Devin Castle overlooking the Austrian border. Overnight train to Prague.

Day 14 | PRAGUE Transfer to hotel and the rest of the day at leisure.
|
Day 15 | PRAGUE Tour ends.
