Day 1	Kota Kinabalu Arrive Kota Kinabalu.
Day 2	Poring Hot Springs Travel to Kinabalu National Park. (B)
Day 3	Mt. Kinabalu (4,101m) A 2 day hike up S.E. Asia's highest mountain. The climb is about 6km (5-6 hrs walking). We spend the night at a mountain resthouse (3,300m) and very early the following morning we make an ascent to the summit for a spectacular sunrise and fantastic views.Day 3 (B). Day 4, no meals

Day 5	RIVER LODGE & Jungle Resort Leaving the mountains behind we journey to Sukau, passing through vast plantations of oil palms. Our riverside lodge is located in the rainforest beside the Kinabatangan River. Here we can relax and experience the beauty of this true wilderness. In the evening we cruise up the river in search of Proboscis monkey, a host of birdlife (including the amazing Rhinoceros Hornbill), Gibbon and wild Orang Utan. The sound of the jungle at night is a memory to be cherished. The following morning we have time to relax at the lodge, also there is the option to take a guided walk in the rainforest in search of elephants. In the afternoon we drive to our next jungle resort near Sandakan. Day 5 (B), Day 6 (No meals)

Day 7	Orang Utan Centre We spend the whole day at the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre for a face-to-face encounter with Borneo's great ape.
Day 8	SELINGAN ISLAND After a short drive to Sandakan jetty, we transfer by boat to Selingan Island in the Turtle Islands National Park. We have time to relax on the beautiful tropical beaches and soak up the atmosphere of this island paradise. (LD)
Day 9	Sandakan and Kota Kinabalu We return to Sandakan and have time to explore the town and markets before transfering to the airport for our flight to Kota Kinabalu. On arrival at our comfortable hotel the remainder of the day is spent at leisure by the pool or in the town. (B)
Day 10	Mulu National Park - SARAWAK This morning we fly to Miri and then onwards to Mulu National Park, home to one of the world's great cave systems. (BLD)
Day 11	Caves and tribal settlements Travelling by longboat we head to the source of Clearwater River and explore the sculptured limestone labyrinth of Wind cave (with its impressive stalactites and stalamites) and Clearwater Cave (Asia's longest cave at 107km). The next day we travel by longboat up Tutoh River and visit Long Iman Penan settlement. We spend our time walking on jungle trails with the Penan, and learn about their collection of traditional medicine and hunting techniques. (BLD)

Day 13	After a morning jungle walk in Mulu National Park we fly back to Miri. The tour ends on arrival at Miri airport, where we can transfer onto our homeward flight. (B)
