Day 1 | VILNIUS Arrival transfer.

Day 2 | VILNIUS - TRAKAI Morning walking tour of the delightful old town with its winding streets, narrow alleys and many old churches. In the afternoon we visit Trakai, the former capital of Lithuania with its beautiful lake castle. (B)

Day 3 | VILNIUS - DRUSKININKAI - KAUNAS Our first stop today is Grutas Park, an attractive open air museum which houses all the soviet era sculptures of Lithuania. We then continue to Druskininkai, a beautiful old Soviet spa town set amongst pine forest and famous for its springs. We have the chance to have a 'mud bath' before continuing to Kaunas where we spend the night. (B)

Day 4 | KAUNAS - KRETINGA Morning walking tour of the old town, including a visit to the ruins of the 13th century castle and the town hall. In the afternoon we drive to the seaside where we spend two nights in traditional wooden houses. (B)

Day 5 | KRETINGA / KLAIPEDA A full day to explore the wonderful Curonian Spit National park. (B)

Day 6 | PALANGA - RIGA Drive to the charming seaside resort of Palanga to visit the botanical gardens and Amber museum. Later we visit the Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, a hillock covered in more than 200,000 crosses and a symbol of Lithuanian nationalism and Christianity, before finishing the day in Riga. (B)

Day 7 | RIGA Morning walking tour, afternoon is free to explore on your own.

Day 8 | RIGA - PARNU - TALLINN Drive to Tallinn, capital of Estonia, via the town of Parnu, with its many museums and galleries. Free afternoon. (B)

Day 9 | TALLINN Morning walking tour of the old city. Afternoon free. (B)

Day 10 | TALLINN - TARTU - SIGULDA Travel to the old town of Tartu where we have time to explore Toomemagi (Cathedral Hill) with its imposing Gothic Cathedral and the classical architecture of the Town Square. Continue back into Latvia via the old town of Cesis where we have time to visit Castle Park before we continue to Sigulda. (B)

Day 11 | SIGULDA - SIAULIAI Sigulda is on the edge of a beautiful valley covered in forest with many trails snaking through it. We have plenty of time to explore before transferring to Kurtuvenia Regional Park in Lithuania, an area of lakes, forests and hills. We have the chance to explore by foot, bike or horse. (B)

Day 12 | AUKSTAITIJA NATIONAL PARK Drive to the Aukstaitija National park, an exquisite landscape of pine forest, streams, old villages and perfect blue lakes. A definite highlight of the tour! (B)

Day 13 | AUKSTAITIJA NATIONAL PARK - VILNIUS A full day to explore. Later we return to Vilnius. (B)

Day 14 | VILNIUS Tour ends. (B)
