The peace of the Kerala backwaters is an eye-opener for those who are seeing southern India for the first time. Likewise, the tranquillity of the hill station of Ooty revives the spectres of the Raj at rest. This trip is relaxing; Indian Ocean beaches at Goa and Kovalam, and the Ashram of Bhagwan Rajneesh at Poona. There is spiritual contemplation too, the chance to see the important religious sites at Madurai, Trichy and Mahabalipuram. To complete the sensory experience, you will visit Mysore - the perfume capital of India, famed for its sandalwood.
Operating our own fully equipped vehicles with two western crew members allows you secure hassle free travel. You will travel in a comfortable well maintained, safely driven expedition vehicle that will take you from A to B with a minimum of fuss. Our vehicles are fully lockable and have safes for added security. This trip provides a secure way to explore an unfamiliar world.
Most people will be aged in their twenties or thirties, but we do have a number of older participants. Our groups are international and they come from all walks of life. The mix of sexes is usually even, some come as couples but most are individuals. Some come as seasoned travellers, others are just starting out. But what they all share is a love of adventure and discovery.
