One of the Worlds best-known attractions, the Grand Canyon is an awesome spectacle of quite breathtaking proportions. Over a mile deep at one point, it offers a wealth of pursuits from scenic drives and walks along the rim to helicopter rides and more strenuous hikes down to the Canyon bottom. The South Rim is open all year round and can easily be reached by car via Flagstaff, Williams and Sedona.
This trip takes you on a journey through three of America's wildest States - Arizona, New Mexico and Utah, exploring the canyons fo the Wild West. Experience the cactus dotted deserts, the red rock beauty of Sedona, the cosmopolitan sprawl of Phoenix and it's suburb Scottsdale with many renowned worldclass hotels and golf courses and the sublime beauty of Monument Valley. In contrast the Old West Country is where the traditional west comes alive from the desert city of Tucson, to the authentic dude ranches, offering horseback riding, hiking, swimming, adventure and mouth watering cuisine.
This self-drive holiday can be combined with a stay on a ranch, learning to ride, improving your riding skills, or just enjoying the hospitality of the Wild West cowboys. Please note that the price does not include international flights. We have a comprehensive range of flights from regional airports to the USA which can be tailored to meet your requirements. |
