This trip visits the best of Ecuador including the Amazon Jungle, high Andean cloud forest, maritime Mangrove forests, wonderful Pacific beaches, Andean Mountains and volcanoes and the Peruvian Desert. This is a trip for those who want to spend more time than the average tourist in Ecuador and Northern Peru. We travel by canoe to a very remote Afro-Indian community deep in primary coastal rainforest where their run their own jungle lodge and tourism project. We will travel through the Andean region of Ecuador and enter the deserts of northern Peru where we will explore the ancient ruined cities of the Moche and Chimu Indians.
Operating our own fully equipped vehicles with two western crew members allows you secure hassle free travel. You will travel in a comfortable well maintained, safely driven expedition vehicle that will take you from A to B with a minimum of fuss. Our vehicles are fully lockable and have safes for added security. This trip provides a secure way to explore an unfamiliar world.
Most people will be aged in their twenties or thirties, but we do have a number of older participants. Our groups are international and they come from all walks of life. The mix of sexes is usually even, some come as couples but most are individuals. Some come as seasoned travellers, others are just starting out. But what they all share is a love of adventure and discovery.
