Its huge and bustling capital city is perched at 7,000 ft above sea level as the gateway to the countries diverse countryside, its magnificent ruins and of course its beautiful beaches. Busy resorts such as Cancun offer year-round fiesta, while places like the Yucatan peninsula, with its ancient temples and pyramids, offer timeless atmoshere and a step back into the past.Mexico has it all: ancient civilisations, a fascinating colonial history, wonderful beaches, superb cuisine, varied scenery, excellent hospitality and powerful tequila.
Our suggested tours from Mexico City to the Caribbean cover the highlights of the Mayan trail but we will adapt the itinerary according to your needs. Our two week journey from Mexico City to the Caribbean offers a great overview of some the main attractions this country has to offer. Accommodation is top quality, selected for character and style. The itinerary includes car hire from Merida to the Riviera Maya but we will arrange private transfers if you prefer.
