Day 1 | KUALA LUMPUR Arrive and transfer to hotel.
| Day 2 | KUALA LUMPUR A free day to wander this fantastic city with its interesting mix of cultures and colonial influences. You may like to take an optional trip through the surrounding countryside and visit the famous Batu Caves.
| Day 3 | TAMAN NEGARA We travel by bus and boat to Taman Negara National Park, probably the oldest rainforest on earth. With 4,343 sq km of virgin jungle the park is a haven for hundreds of species of wildlife, exotic birds, fish and plants.
| Day 4 | TAMAN NEGARA A full free day for optional activities such as canoeing, canopy walking, trekking, bird watching and so on.
| Day 5 | TAMAN NEGARA A second free day for more activities or just relax in the beautiful surroundings.
| Day 6 | KOTA BHARU Morning boat ride to Kuala Tembling from where we continue on the mail train to Kota Bharu.
| Day 7 | PERHENTIAN ISLANDS A free morning to explore the colourful local market in Kota Bharu before transferring to the coast to take a speed boat ride to the beautiful Perhentian Islands.
| Day 8 | PERHENTIAN ISLANDS Two full days to experience all the options that are available on the island. Try snorkelling, swimming, fishing, eating or just relaxing!
| Day 9 | As above | Day 10 | PENANG We spend the day travelling across the mainland to the island of Penang. | Day 11 | PENANG A full free day to uncover the island's colonial past and explore the superb Chinatown, reputedly the finest in Asia!
| Day 12 | CAMERON HIGHLANDS Travel south into the spectacular hill country of the Cameron Highlands.
| Day 13 | CAMERON HIGHLANDS A full free day to take jungle walks, visit tea plantations and spice gardens or just relax in the chalet-style accommodation.
| Day 14 | KUALA LUMPUR Today we travel back to the capital and transfer to our guesthouse. In the afternoon there is the chance for some last minute shopping. | Day 15 | KUALA LUMPUR Tour ends.
