Combine stay in Thailands first jungle camp with a stay in Khao Lak's beautiful beach resort.
Khao Lak is a beautiful and relatively undiscovered coastline in the stunningly beautiful Phang Nga region of Southern Thailand. There is a National Park covering 125 sq kms full of tropical forest, wildlife and sea cliffs. The beaches are quiet and sandy and the Theptharo Lagoon Beach Resort is on one of the quietest. It is a tranquil spot in keeping with its natural surroundings. It has stilted bungalows facing either the sea or the lagoon and offers a swimming pool, gymn, spa and scuba diving.
Elephant Hills is Thailands first jungle camp and is set in the Khao Sok national park also in the Phang Nga region of southern Thailand. The tents are comfortable but simple with private bathroom and shower. While you are there you will take a canoe trip down the Sok river, a long tail boat ride on the Cheo Larn Lake, various talks by conservation experts, weather permitting a hike to the mountain viewpoint overlooking the park and finally the highlight an elephant ride through the lush jungle. Our Opinion: The latest deluxe property on the scene has certainly created a stir. The rooms (all river-facing) are exceptional; the public areas quite formal. Situated across the river from Central Bangkok.

Our Opinion: Magical setting overlooking an attractive bay; and in sympathy with its location, the very stylish chalets offer simple but well appointed accommodation. The position is secluded, but simple beachside restaurants are available at Surin some 20 minutes walk away.
In Room Facilities(110 rooms): Airconditioned spacious chalets scattered around the hillside facing the sea with one queen size bed and a sofa bed; shower only; hairdryer; TV & in-house movies; telephone; in-room safe; tea/coffee making facilities; sundeck; dressing area.
