Come and learn to break colts 'the cowboy way'. This is a week for experienced riders only and can be tough! With only six participants this will be hands on training. Each guest will be given a saddle horse and two year old un-broke colt for the week.. You will work and ride daily out of the ranch at Warm Creek. The setting is ideal - The Silver Spur Ranch, located at the head of Medicine Lodge Canyon, only a few miles from the Idaho/Montana border and Continental Divide. Daily rides into the Targhee National Forest are all part of the young horses training. This is a hands-on week of starting a young colt. The round coral is an important part of that training, but only in the beginning. These colts will earn their living out in the cow country of Idaho and Montana. The ranch owners have been breaking colts for the past twenty years. Guaranteed to be the experience of a lifetime, with only two dates offered.
