An exhilirating journey through Northwest USA visiting four famous national parks, three beautiful mountain ranges and two vibrant cities
From Seattle we begin our holdiay with the Cascade Mountains and Mt Rainier N.P. where we hike below towering glaciers and over incredible glacial meadows. We then head into the scenic delights of Montana and on to the Rocky Mountains. Here huge peaks tower above valleys dotted with crystal blue lakes and meadows covered with wild flowers, and bison, moose and even grizzly bear (occasionally) can be seen. Spending time in both Yellowstone National Park with its famous geysers and the stunning Gran Teton N.P., we have plenty of time to explore on foot. Our final national park is the world-renowned Yosemite with its huge jagged peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range - truly breathtaking scenery. Our journey ends in the picturesque city of San Francisco.

Semi-participatory camping trip by minibus. Plentiful walking opportunities so good fitness preferable. Approximately 4 full-day walks and 4 half-day walks; altitude maximum 2600m, average 1800m.
