This tour combines the luxury of fine hotels with the compatative simplicity of the railway.

It is often said that India is a continent rather than a country. It is the birthplace of several of the worlds leading religions and home to one of its most advanced ancient civilizations. It is a land that speaks nearly 100 different languages and with many peoples of different customs. Whatever the interests of the visitor, India has a wealth of attractions. Beautiful palaces and monuments. Huge forts and battlements. Temples, shrines and mosques. Unique wildlife and stunning beaches. It has snow-capped mountains and some of the worlds mightiest rivers and most strikingly it has one of the richest and most colourful cultures on Earth. You could travel in India for a year and still not see everything.
